Grandmama’s @ Pavilion Kl
Most of the best cendol came from the roadside stall, but the Grandmama’s air-conditioned restaurant in Pavilion KL is no slouch either with their authentic serving of cendol dessert. Although the price is relatively steep, the cendol here is sweet and creamy enough to satisfy your taste bud. The portion is big enough for sharing with bountiful amount of cendol and sweet corn over the finely-shaved ice.More infoGrandmama’s View restaurant

Khan Cendol
After a visit at Zoo Negara or a hiking trip at Bukit Tabur under the hot sun, what’s better to cool your body than enjoying a nice bowl of cendol? That place in question would be Khan Cendol, which is located at the nearby Taman Melawati. Their bestselling cendol dessert is the one with the scrumptious pulut filling. A combination of different filling is even possible with the ultimate cendol offering that has red bean, pulut, sweet corn and durian or tapai. Now that sounds like a heaven.More infoKhan Cendol View restaurant

Straits Food Company
It’s strange enough that a Nyonya restaurant only offered one type of dessert in the menu and it is none other than cendol. But the Straits Food Company’s version of cendol is a nice complement to end your meal. Filled with a mountaintop of shaved ice almost reminiscent of an ice kacang presentation, the cendol here is a delightful blessing of creamy coconut milk, sweet kidney beans and flavourful Gula Melaka.More infoStraits Food Company View restaurant

Restoran Wahab’s
Calling the place as “the best cendol in town” would be an overstatement, but Restoran Wahab’s does provide a wide variety of colourful cendol for cendol lovers to choose from. Not every day you get to see a bowl of ice-cold cendol with “nangka” (jackfruit) topping. If you want something more “challenging”, there’s the Cendol Special – a rich concoction of ABC-like ingredients such as ice cream, banana, sweet corns, tapai ubi (fermented tapioca), pulut (glutinous rice) and barley. Yes, it’s a lot and certainly not for the weak stomach if you plan to polish the whole bowl all by yourself.More infoRestoran Wahab’s View restaurant

Uncle CendolCertified
halalTucked on the ground floor of Brem Mall, this bright-green restaurant has been churning out one of the finest cendols in town. For more than three generations, they have been making their own Pandan Grass Jellies, which is soft and ethereal. The brimming bowl of dessert comes with a glacier of ice shavings submerged in fresh coconut milk and gula Melaka, a scoop of red beans, swirls of green jellies and slab of gooey pulut. Slither your spoon through, which permeates the sweetness of gula Melaka throughout the bowl. It’s a pleasant marriage of sweetness and texture at each bite, you would chug down the whole bowl at a blink. Moreover, they have widespread flavour profiles to further elevate your slurping joy – Nate De Coco, Durian and Sweet Ginger. People of Kuala Lumpur now know the best way not letting a blistering hot day go wasted.

The rustic and antique-like eatery offers Nyonya cuisine that reminds you of home. After enjoying delectable homecooked dishes at Lima Blas, it's best to wash down the meal with some icy desserts. Ah Keong ABC & Cendol @ Brickfields
If you work nearby the ever-so packed and crowded Brickfields, you're in for a treat. On hot and sunny days, what better way to cool off the heat than with a bowl of cold and sweet cendol? Finely shaved cendol with a spoonful of green jelly, red beans and a dash of Gula Melaka - absolutely delightful. Unfortunately you might have to endure a long wait or queue before getting your hands on them. However, the sweet and generous portion of cendol is definitely worth the wait in the end.

Restoran Muar Home Cooked Cuisine
If you miss kampung-style food and desserts, this is the place for you. Located in Tengkat Tong Shin, this Vcitorian-aged restoran offers quite a stunning array of food and desserts as well. Their cendol may be smaller in size as compared to the norm but the flavors in return packs quite a punch. After all, the aromatic palm sugar syrup and soft green strands of cendol tastes mind-blowingly addictive, after the additional red bean topping. However, it's best to order two bowls if you really want to satisfy your cravings.

Sangkaya
Sangkaya is known for its coconut ice cream, one that has made a name throughout Klang Valley and possibly at other states as well. Now, they have returned with a brand new creation - their very own durian cendol. As you'll expect, this is no ordinary bowl of dessert. A whole piece of D24 durian is placed right above beautifully shaved ice, 3 scoops of their signature coconut ice cream, grass jelly, cendol jelly, corn, kidney beans and most importantly, Gula Melaka. The concoction of sweets is absolutely amazing, and one bowl is certainly not enough. However, pricing at RM13.50 per bowl will stop you from having more.
