RT Pastry House is no stranger in the local bakery market. Evidently a front runner, the pastry house serves a wide array of breads, pastries and cakes. Savoury, sweet and/or a mixture of both, the goodies here sell out like hotcakes. Therefore, don't be alarmed if what you came for is not available in stores. Nonetheless, you'll be able to find a good variety of beautiful cakes here, including the chocolate ones. If you're looking for whole cakes, be sure to place a preorder to avoid disappointments.

While we're not one with pure intentions to divert an establishment's 'signature' offering, we can't help it here. Stealing the spotlight of the coffee of Coffee Ink, in this case, is certainly the dark and sinful chocolate cake. This one is a pure indulgence, we guarantee. Chocolate-d out on the inside and out, even a single bite will breed happiness and subsequent grins as long as you don't care for calorie counts.

Lavender
Hailing all the way from JB, Lavender quickly rose to become one of the best bakeries in our nation. The breads, pastries and cakes are not only affordable but unique and practical too. Klangites need not travel down to PJ or KL anymore as Lavender has an outlet in Bukit Tinggi. As a matter of fact, this branch might very well be better than many others as it has a hot kitchen too!
