Chua Kee is an oldest established Kampung style village restaurant. The Lala Soup is a flavourful soup features a stock of fish bones, wolfberries / goji berries, coconut milk, ginger, spring onions and there is a generous portion of fresh and plump clams simmered in a cloudy superior broth. The sweet savory milky taste is absolutely delicious and warming, helping to be the opener of the palate. It is very suitable for people who favour mild gentle favours but people who love their clams in a more robust broth would miss the kick.
