Their signature Cheese Prawn Bee Hoon is a triumphant temptation that will have you drooling at dot. The price is a little steep yet considering what’s on offer, it’s worth each and every penny. The stir-fried vermicelli is richly rewarded with a creamy cheese and egg based, and crowned with prawns that are fresh and plump. The variation of texture and flavour is distinguished till the last mouthful, and you might be chockfull already but your taste buds are all set to keep up with another platter. 

This simple eatery has successfully raised to fame thanks to their award-winning Nyonya Laksa that is utterly delicious. Apart from the best seller, there are other dishes that draw patrons back again and again too, which includes their fried bee hoon. The noodles are flash-fried with simple ingredients and topped with slices of fried egg and mishmash of vegetables, and a dollop of sambal on the edge. Simple and light yet fulfilling, this bee hoon fits the canon as a picnic-ready option too. The crowds are known to pair the noodles with a glass of teh tarik, a definite yes from us too!

This place would be a challenge to trace for first timers and the setting is rather bare-basic at back lane of the owner’s terrace house. However, their signature lala bee hoon makes up for all the minus points. Served piping hot and liberally littered with lalas that are sourced fresh daily, this drool-inducing platter is nothing but spectacular. Moreover, the smatterings of spring onions and chillies, as well as dark soy sauce base envelops each strand of the noodles. Downright delicious!

Spicy, satisfying and full of flavours are best adjectives to describe this luscious dish. Also, keep an eye out for their curry chicken that goes really well with the noodles.
