Whether it is cooked in a wok, or perhaps a more gentler version in a fry pan, a good plate of fried rice will definitely get you craving for more. Served with an array of vegetables, meat or even seafood, it is probably one of the most customized food available.

Tho Yuen Restaurant
Tho Yuen Restaurant is undeniably famous for their long heritage of amazing chicken rice. Velvety smooth, succulent and absolutely juicy and flavourful. However, how many of you are actually aware that they too serve pretty good fried rice. Done in a slightly moist manner, it goes perfectly well with the tender-smooth steamed chicken.

Wah Li Fried Rice and Coffee Shop
The name of the restaurant itself is a pretty strong statement and extremely straight-forwarded. That idea too has been carried upon their menu, where there are no more than 11 items, with 6 of them being different variants of fried rice. The signature 'Pai Kut Ong Fried Rice' is done by stir-frying spare ribs first, followed by a series of vegetables, rice and condiments. Fragrant, flavourful and it definitely has that 'oomph'.

Sister Cook (大姐中国沙县小吃)
Sister Cook is a fun place to be, especially when you're into experimental or uniquely-combined ingredients and dishes. Having said that, their signature scallop fried rice isn't all that weird. It comes in a huge portion that has five fried dumplings, a decent amount of smokiness from the wok, flavour and seafood. Good balance of flavour and pleasant too.
