Any KL-rians would be familiar with the name Inside Scoop that has built its name to be one of the best ice cream parlours around Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley. With Inside Scoop's flavourful arrays of ice cream to choose from, this name is an absolute gem for dessert's lovers. Then there’s the flesh strips found at the bottom of the coconut husk once you finish off the ice cream, which adds as a nice little touch to end your dessert with utmost satisfaction.

Introducing a new way to enjoy premium soft serve, also known as frozen custard by Mikey's New York Pizza. Their latest venture will allow patrons to choose their own flavour, be it the Vanilla Dream, Chocolate Pudding, Au Naturel, a mix of two or their Flavour of the Week. Additional toppings are also recommended, especially the beef bacon, marshmallow, teh tarik sauce and many more. After all, there are about 26 different toppings for you guys to choose from! Make your way to Milkcow, a renowned ice cream parlour from Korea that has been reaping up positive reviews with their soft serve ice cream, made from 100% fresh organic milk. It just melts on your tongue sans any lumpiness and the flavours are pleasantly mild. The real deal here is racking up the icy goodness with jelly beans, natural honeycomb, organic cotton candy, Cadbury crunchie, sweet red beans, macaroon and white chocolate chips till it looks picture-perfect for Instagram. 

Who doesn’t love scoops of ice creams sandwiched between buns? For one that would blow your mind away, head over to Thirty Seconds, a humble family-run cafe with cosy vibes and comfort dishes. And to put an end to your curiosity, the name of the restaurant refers to the ideal length of time to pull a shot of espresso. Be sure of wrapping up your meal with their Shamaziin ice cream sandwich, made by Shaun Liew, an artisanal ice cream maker. Either charcoal buns or regular toasted buns is halved and filled with scoops of ice creams, not your average chocolate or vanilla, be awed with Horlicks & Maltesers and Peanut Butter Milo. The bread takes advantage of the creamy goodness, turning a little soggy in a good way and the taste of the ice cream is as good as the name. If you are one of those who like dipping French fries into ice cream, you couldn’t ask for anything better, as the platter comes with a handful of fries. 

Mammamia Gelato Italiano is where you want to be if varieties are your jam. With more than 30 flavours chockfull behind the glass shelve, one may hem and haw, but rest assured nothing falls below the rating of spectacular. Think flavours like Ferrero Rocher, Kinder Bueno, Smarties, Nutella, Snickers, Oreo, Milo, Mango and Durian, to name a few. Either it’s scooped into a cup, stacked inside crunchy cone or perched atop warm waffles; it tastes as good as it looks. On a side note, their ice cream cakes are widely acclaimed by the patrons too.
