Indomie is one of the most popular instant noodles besides Maggi that is available in every other mamak nationwide. Like every instant noodle around, they can be made really good, or really bad. It's quite surprising that anyone can mess up instant noodles but hey, everyone makes mistakes. Indomie on the other hand, is pretty much idiot-proof. The noodles are a lot firmer than other instant noodles, and the flavour itself is really addictive. More importantly, however, is the addition of the fried egg that binds everything together.

Restoran Al Barkath
Al-Barkarth was really a popular place back in those days for their amazing range of shisha, and of course, the amazing crowd when there's football or badminton tournament. Furthermore, their naan and tandoori chicken are incredibly delicious. The other great thing about Al-Barkarth would definitely be Indomie Goreng double. Cooked softer than most, the Indomie Goreng here is well flavoured with just the right amount of seasoning. The eggs are also done really well, and if you order the upsized variant, they will also double your eggs. Wash it all down with Milo Ais or Teh Tarik, the Malaysian way.

Murni
Murni is perhaps one of the most popular mamak around Klang Valley. Almost anything you seek, they will most likely have them on the menu. Not only that, they're incredibly affordable and the portion is really huge! As for the Indomie Goreng, you can expect it to be cooked really well. The consistency and bounciness of the noodles are really enjoyable, and the seasoning is just on point. The fried egg is also done quite nicely where the yolk is still liquid as it coats the noodles nicely. Delicious!

Nasi Kandar Bestari
Nasi Kandar Bestari is one of the best mamaks around beside Mamak Anderson in Publika. It is also one of the cleaner ones in the area, but the prices are a little steep. But that doesn't come with a reason as their food is actually pretty decent - better than average. Similarly, the Indomie here is done quite nicely with a good consistency and springiness from the noodles. The flavouring isn't as strong as some, but it does coat the noodles nicely. Topped with a single fried egg, the dish itself is pretty neat.

Teh Tarik Place
If you are looking for a place that offers a wide variety of local mamak cuisine made pretty, then Teh Tarik Place might just be the place for you. They have roti canai, teh tarik, mee goreng mamak and many others, including the Indomie. Though it's not exactly popular, the Indomie here is pretty good as well. It's made a little more wet and moist in comparison to most, but it does deliver in terms of flavour. It's not as bouncy but the noodles do have a good consistency. Served with a fried egg, Teh Tarik Place's Indomie is certainly well worth the try.

Restoran Mosin
Restoran Mosin might be a little small in comparison to most mamak, but they're really popular for their amazing range of innovative naan breads. Having said that, that's not all that they're good as the Indomie Goreng here is pretty decent. Not only are they cooked beautifully, the eggs are incorporated into the noodles instead of having them on the side. This helps develop a new sense of taste and texture that many Malaysians would definitely enjoy. Oh, don't forget to squeeze that lime in, it does make a difference!
