T Forty Two’s concept is pretty similar to TWG’s. Hi-Tea with brunch menus, tea and light pastries. Even the choice of location is pretty similar, either in a concourse or next to an atrium or void (somewhere with lots of natural light). Much like TWG, they also offer a range of fresh macaroons with various flavours, with Rose being one of the best choices in terms of consistency, aroma and flavour.More info

Whisk Espresso Bar + Bake Shop
Whisk’s selection of macaroons was slightly off compared to the usual macaroons you’ll find in any store. Going with wild and distinct colours and flavours, Whisk has definitely represent itself as a café with quite a unique identity, both in terms of its food presentation and interior. Though the macaroons can be considered an “acquired taste”, the texture and bite was not too far off.More info
