Under the stewardship of father and son, the hot wok of this famous stall does not stop tossing to please the crowd. Yellow noodles doused in treacly hot gravy and garnished with hard-boiled eggs, morsels of deep-fried potatoes, tofu, dough fritters and a generous serving of squid. A stall that truly epitomises "a dish fit for the king" as the former King of Malaysia was among the patrons of this stall which earned itself the nickname “Mee Agong”. Today, the third generation has taken over the wok, closely guarding their top secret recipe for a glorious gravy that unifies the noodles and ingredients – slivers of mutton, beef, cuttlefish, bean sprouts, tofu, tomatoes and potatoes. Chopped green chilies and a wedge of lime are presented on the side if you need an additional spicy or tangy kick.
