Best Pastas in Putrajaya/Cyberjaya

If you're up for some fusion pastas, then you ought to get yourself over to Tokio Kafe. This culinary fusion of Japanese and western cuisines surprisingly does spark up a pretty decent meal or two. Fred not, though the fusion may sound a little scary at times, rest assured that Tokio Kafe's selection of pasta is fairly basic. From the classic carbonara to the pesto, or something as curry carbonara. Whatever weird combination that you can think off, they have it all.

Big Bob Burger may be famous for both its burgers and coffee, but its selective range of pasta is well worth the try as well. That is if you're bored with either burgers or sandwiches. They offer the classics of aglio olio, bolognese, carbonara, and some with a slight twist. Nothing too fancy, it gets the job done for those who are craving for pastas, or are around the neighbourhood. 

It may be a little odd to find pastas in a Middle Eastern restaurant, though perhaps they were trying to target family with kids who can't eat anything else but carbs and tomato/cream sauce. In any case, despite it being a Middle Eastern restaurant, Balqis  Restaurant's approach towards the classic bolognese is noteworthy. The sauce has a nice tang to it while being seasoned perfectly, drench over a slightly overcooked noodles. Softer, just like how the kids liked it. 

Monjo Coffee is without a doubt the most stunning looking cafe in Cyberjaya in terms of its contemporary design. They are also incredibly gifted in making coffees, be it latte, espresso, cappuccino and so on. What better way to pair that with if it isn't a delicious plate of pasta? One of which that is really worth going for would definitely be the bolognese with a side of chicken. Yes, it's a pasta with a whole leg of chicken, because why not?

Carbonara lovers  rejoice as this friendly, colourful and vibrant cafe packs in a whole lot into their chicken ham carbonara spaghetti. This plate of creamy and rich pasta is definitely not for the weak-hearted as it does get quite 'jelak' after a while. Otherwise, go for the aglio olio with fish as it's a lighter alternative but still packs in a whole lot of flavour.
