The duck is usually ordered half or a whole depending on customers’ preference. Although the duck meat is quite rich and juicy in texture, there isn’t much flesh and meat compared to a chicken so for those who truly want to go out on an all meaty feast, just get a whole duck. Served with a small help of soy sauce for an extra savoury flavour and accompanied with a sweet sauce for dipping.

A splendour mix of meaty goodness. The roasted duck is sliced into thin slices for an easy pick. Roasted till a golden dark brownish colour you’ll be pleased to savour this juicy yet tender texture of that roasted duck meat. Also, since this is more of a trio platter meat, aside from the roasted duck, it is accompanied with roasted chicken and barbecue char siew chicken. Note that this restaurant is certified halal, hence all meat is served halal. The meat is said to be sliced and prepared right in front of you.

Restoran Wei Kee
Specialising in roasted duck, no doubt is it is one of the many places around in the vicinity of Subang that whips up a good old roasted duck meat. Cooked to a slightly charred on the top of the duck skin giving it a slight crispy burnt taste to it. The meat itself is firm, chewy yet tender on the inside. The duck meat is sliced evenly into bite size pieces when served. Definitely full of juicy, meaty and a flavourful feast to gobble away. Best eaten with white fragrant rice or noodles alongside other side dishes so it’s not too plain.

Dynasty Dragon Seafood Restaurant
A rather unique dish and slightly different than the norms of roasted duck. The duck is pumped with air till it expands quite a bit, to separate the skin from the fat. It is then hung up to dry in the cold before being roasted in an oven, the duck is layered with maltose syrup and left to stand for 24 hours then later roasted in the oven until turned shiny. The duck is served with a small thin flat white roasted tortilla wrap and the duck meat and skin is placed inside accompanied with a sprig of scallion and some sweet sauce. Wrap it up and enjoy a crunchy, sweet savoury, chewy yet soft texture.
