Pho Viet is located along the Beach Street in a post war building. It is quite noticeable due to its red shop sign and oriental lanterns decorations. Founded in 2016, Pho Viet serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine and only uses healthy and fresh ingredients fr their dishes. They also strongly adhere to their no MSG and artificial preservatives policy to ensure their dishes are clean and healthy! Despite pho and banhmi being the most signature dish, they also serve Vietnamese style home cooked dishes. This restaurant's size is small due to its location but their interior feels very cozy. Saigon bowl is one of the latest joint to enter the Vietnamese food game in Penang. It is located at the Whiteaways Arcade ( a two-storey colonial building built in the early 20th century) and the restaurant can definitely attract you from afar with their blue exterior walls and a bright neon shop sign! Saigon Bowl had opened their doors since September 2017 and they're created to modernize the traditional Vietnamese food in order to cater to Malaysians while preserving the unique Vietnamese dining experience. The interior of the restaurant looks very clean and fancy with some traditional Vietnamese bamboo hand crafts hanging on the ceiling. Saigon Bowl's menu price is affordable and budget friendly too. So, if you happen to stop by at Saigon Bowl, don't 'pho-get' to try out their pho! Their Pho's broth are intensely cooked for 7 hours daily!

The only decorations are a lot of Vietnamese traditional cone hats and bamboo trays hung against the walls and some green plants to brighten up the atmosphere. Definitely try out their signature Beef Pho when making a visit. Also, you can DIY your own spring rolls with the ingredients providedl. If you're adventurous enough, you can even order the Vietnamese Fetal duck egg (Balut) to try!

An Viet is already a pretty well established Vietnamese restaurant joint in Klang Valley. Recently they expanded their franchise to Penang at Gurney Plaza. Their name 'Ăn Viet' literally means 'Eat Viet' in Vietnamese and they strongly follow their 'food-losophy' of using quality ingredients to produce authentic dishes from scratch. The restaurant's interior looks modern with lighting that compliments the little bit of wood,green and blue.
