As many of you might already realise, there are variants to the wantan mee when it comes to a different state. Dark soy sauce for the KL-Selangor region, white for Penang and chili-base for Melaka. The noodles used too are slightly softer and more bouncier than most, alongside a pretty luxurious side.

Fat Aunty Wantan Mee @ Restoran Lee Ho
Fat Aunty Wantan Mee may not be the prettiest of names, but they do offer pretty delicious wantan mee. As the name suggests, it's operated by a rather plump auntie which unsurprisingly has pan mee as part of their menu selection. It comes in two variants - soup or dry, both of which are pretty good as well.

Lian Pang Kopitiam
Lian Pang Kopitiam is a hawker centre rather popular for its range of dishes served here in Melaka. One of the must-try is definitely the wantan mee, blanched perfectly in hot boiling water and finish with either a clear-chili base or broth. Both are equally delicious and comes with a generous spread of char siew, shredded chicken, dumplings and vegetables.
