Restoran Choong Kee Pokok Besar, otherwise known as “Dai Shu Geok” (Big Tree Foot) is the ever famous scrumptious Yong Tau Foo stall in Pasir Pinji. Apparently, it has shifted to a food court next to it, whereas another Yong Tau Foo stall has taken over its previous location and conveys the same Yong Tau Foo business too. In addition to that, a bowl of asam laksa or curry mee will be a great accompaniment to go with a plateful of homemade deep fried fish paste, stuffed with different variations.

Adorned with cart stalls and rusty sign boards, one will not experience the colours of Ipoh without their presence. Nevertheless, a hungry stomach will most definitely find love here with an array of food like Char Kuey Teow, Chee Cheong Foon, and of course, Yong Tau Foo.
