Mee Bandung Muar, Danga Bay @ Medan Selera PJ Seksyen 8
Having been rather popular with mee bandung, this simple stall certainly has more to offer. The asam pedas here may be plain and simple, but the delivery is top notch. Costing a mere RM6, the asam pedas set comes with a plate of rice, fried egg, and your choice of fish with asam pedas; be it kembong, pari or tenggiri. It is also quite spicy, so perhaps a glass of water might help.

Asam Pedas Mamaku
Asam Pedas Mamaku is another effortless mini cafe that has quite the extensive menu. Though most of them are just variations of a few selection specialties, the choices do make it seem quite welcoming. Tucked in Seasons Square, Damansara Damai, Asam Pedas Mamaku's version of the asam pedas is certainly well worth the try. The broth is bright red in colour and slightly murkier than most, comes with a generous chunk of fish too! It's sweet, spicy, savoury and sour, which goes great with a bowl of rice.
