halalOne of the oldest bakeries in town since 1986, Italy Bakery has seven different branches within Melaka. With over 25 years of experience in the baking industry and as a Halal certified bakery, they are well-known for specialising in pastries and cakes, especially their Portuguese Egg Tart and Chicken Siew Pao that resembles the popular “siew pao” from Seremban. These are the two baked goods that are selling like hot cakes, given the crunchy crust and the similarity in taste to the original. Other than that, they do make delicious breads that are sold in loaves.
