Yes, it might sound a little odd, but the idea and execution behind it is well thought of. Each piece of dim sum mini bun is like a smaller replica of the original size, packed with the same amount of flavour and texture. But doing it in smaller portion, one can try a variety of breads and pastries instead of merely having one or two. For those who eat a lot, there's also regular sized bread which is also done quite nicely.
