Their signature Kilogram Brekkie, which consists of a deliciously thick and juicy pork sausage, two strips of bacon, sauteed mushrooms, breaded mash potato, salad, chutney, toasts with poached eggs and finally, a side of oranges. Which may sound odd but it's a great starter. Each element within the dish is not only beautifully seasoned, but cooked perfectly as well. In any case, it will be the heartiest plate of big breakfast you can find around the area.

Departure Lounge is possibly one of the only cafe that serves its big breakfast with butter, jam and honey on the sides. Classic. Besides that, there are various selections of toasts, muffins, fish fingers, sautéed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, bacon and scrambled eggs as well. Talk about value for money! In terms of flavours, everything was well seasoned and delicious without overpowering one another. Accompany the platter with a freshly brewed coffee by the side, a combination that you can't put down. On a side note, it can be shared by two small eaters. 

One of the most well-presented and colourful plating within the list. Delicious, creamy, fluffy and well seasoned scrambled eggs served with a chicken chorizo, roasted potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, chicken ham, halved tomatoes, baked beans and a side of toast. It is indeed hearty and fulfilling, with each and every element seasoned to perfection, alongside the play of multiple textures from the softness of the eggs to the chewiness of the sausages and its adjacent beauties. And yes, coffees are widely regarded too. Certainly, a good spot to bring over your batch for a full-fledged brekkie. 

Strangers at 47 has quite the reputation as the all-things-crepe joint. With their array of sweet and savoury crepes, dining here is quite an experience. One of the ultimate best sellers is their big breakfast, BBC. After some slight changes from the previous version, it is now served better and bigger than ever. Of course, being a crepe specialist, they had to include it on their plating of, sunny side up or scrambled, egg, spinach, mushrooms, chicken chorizo, chicken ham and hash browns. The vegetables are sautéed with butter, the hash browns are a shredded delight compared to the usual mash, and the crepe is nicely fluffy.

The big breakfast at Garage 51 has certainly took leaps and bounds to get to where it is today. Known with a catchy name - Awesome Garage Breakfast 2.0, it is served with poached egg, beef salami, jumbo sausage, zucchini fritters, enokitake mushroom, avocado smash and sourdough bread with fresh strawberries and peanut butter. From the list of ingredients itself, you'll know it's not your average big breakfast, truly value for both money and taste. And what better joy than starting your day in one of the hippest places in town. Worthwhile. 

Happen to be in the mood for some big breakfast? Breakfast or brunch, The XL Breakfast here at Closer Kitchen & Espresso Bar definitely does live up to its name – in other words, a large portion. Served in a skillet are sautéed mushrooms, fresh cherry tomatoes, smoked duck, bratwurst chicken sausage, mashed potatoes and two eggs of your choice – namely sunny side up, scrambled or omelette. Lastly, the cranberry toast with butter and their homemade Provencale sauce does indeed add on to the experience. To top off your meal, well, looking at the name of the eatery, there's really no leaving without a cuppa.

Jam & Kaya Cafe is actually a house-made-cafe. Located in PJ palms centre, the place is incredibly cosy and bright, but what makes this cafe really worth visiting is their food and coffee. The big breakfast for one, is served quite generously with sauteed button mushrooms, luscious scrambled eggs, hash brown, ham, sausage, toasts and salad. Not only are they seasoned to perfection, they're plated beautifully and definitely is worth sharing on social media. They do have another breakfast rendition too, known as "Jam & Kaya Kampung Breakfast", which would be just right for small eaters. 

Ingredients: Chicken chipotle, scrambled egg, baked beans, sautéed potato, sliced bread and baked tomato. Served with choice of beef bacon or turkey ham.

From the first look, there's nothing fancy about the Big Breakfast from Pierre's but the best thing about their breakfast is how it makes you feel nostalgic. Of course, they taste great with the omelette, sausages and toast. But it probably would remind you of how your mom would make it.

Apart from its interior, Mr & Ms café does serve a variety of breakfast menu as well – which of course includes the Meaty Big Breakfast. Generously served with two sunny side-up/poached eggs on wholemeal toast, herbed chicken sausage, slices of turkey ham and beef bacon, sautéed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, hash browns and baked beans – all of which are neatly arranged. Taste-wise, it was quite heavy due to the amount of food on the plate but at least it was priced affordably.
