Hidden away from the city and located at Oasis Square, Ara Damansara, the café is made by two friends who happen to be a chef who returned home from Australia and an up-and-coming entrepreneur. Mr & Ms Café vaunts its toasts and sandwiches Western style as the theme of the café seems to give a very “warm Australian” feeling to it. Their French toast is sizzled in the pan with warm butter until crisp, then topped off with maple syrup and plentiful of strawberries and blueberries with vanilla ice cream at the side.More info

Strategically situated at the hustle and bustle of Damansara Uptown (same row with +Wondermilk by the way!), The Good Batch certainly knows how to serve the best batch of beautifully, crafted brunches. Their French toast is of course, beautifully made as well. Served in bite-sized pieces, the toast is light and fluffy with the generous amount of peach slices, honey and oats scrambled all over it! The newly opened French-Japanese fusion restaurant boasts a huge menu ranging from thick milkshakes to pastas and soups. Pairing French pastries to Japanese fusion dishes, the pan-fried Famous French Toast is to die for! The thick slices of bread are cut to square-like pieces and buttered on the pan. After pan frying it to crispy perfection, the bread squares are then topped with icing sugar, a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream and lastly (the best and most original) an abundant amount of maple syrup is given at the side for more sweet satisfaction!More info

Located at Kelana Jaya Mall, this fusion Indian vegetarian restaurant is worth a try for vegetarians and people who are interested in the cuisine. Their French toast is interesting and very affordable! Those who want to try something different, the café’s toast is savoury; paired with diced potatoes and carrots, the special molasses sauce is served on the side. What’s special about the molasses sauce is that it is made out of sugar cane or sugar beets cooked into a syrupy-like sauce. Healthy and reasonable, only at RM4.50 per serving!
