95 Degres Art Café
Oh no, on first look- this isn’t your average French Toast; instead, it’s the café’s own rendition of this unique take on the dessert. Baguette toasts are substituted in to give you a chewier texture, while a hodgepodge of ingredients like strawberries, oranges, meringue, and flowery herbs are tossed into the mix for an explosion of sweet and tangy flavours. But what makes it so unique is the option of a Caramel Ginger syrup, which will surprise you when paired with the dish.

Analog Cafe
Because Analog Cafe does their own bread, they can control the ratio, quality and taste of their desired french toast. Done in square strips and stacked upon one another, the french toast is topped with plenty of honey, cornflakes, whipped cream and fresh berries. The result is fairly simple and straight-forwarded. Fresh, sweet and a delight to have for breakfast!More infoAnalog Cafe View restaurant

Jibby & Co
To clear up speculations about the name of the café, “Jibby” is actually the co-founder’s, Najib Abdul Rahman, nickname. Having worked overseas at Australia for a year, Najib, who’s also the executive chef of the Serai chain outlets, decided to open his own restaurant and café here at The Empire Shopping Gallery in Subang Jaya. The Kick Azz French toast is highly recommended for people who have a sweet tooth! Cooked in light egg batter, the Kick Azz is topped with more crème patisserie than maple glaze, with chopped pistachios and blueberries. The sourness of the berries gave it a nice balance to the brunch, dessert or for whatever meal you decide to have it with, overall. The toast is dense and independent enough to be a meal on its own. Add another RM5 for vanilla ice cream at the side!More infoJibby & Co View restaurant

View in Google Maps AMPM Cafe
AMPM Café looks like the kind of café you would want to go to if you just want a quiet night on your own or with a chat buddy. Its dimly light surroundings were perfectly excelled onto their cement, brick and black walls covered with what seems to be their own neon-inspired psychedelic art. AMPM’s French toast looks delightful and worth the moolah paying for. Using brioche bread, a French originated pastry, it’s denser than regular baked bread and thus making it more filling especially after frying with egg batter. Served with fresh chocolate cream, huge banana slices and butterscotch sauce, everything was deliciously FRESH!More info- This week’s Recommendation
Carpenter's Daughter
We started off with a delicious and simple Classic French Toast. With homemade bread, organic Agave, baked apple cinnamon, butter and jam. Firm and fluffy sticks of french toast, lightly browned on the edge goes perfectly well with some organic Agave and baked apple cinnamon. Alternatively, the combination of butter and jam was delicious as well. Perfect for a Sunday breakfast, or any other day's breakfast for that matter.More infoThe Carpenter’s Daughter View restaurant

Located in the hustle and bustle of SS15, Good Friends Restaurant & Café is opposite the open air parking lot which can be found next to the famous Asia Café. It is a pretty big restaurant and café that claims two lots of a usual store. Fairly known for its homemade cooking and reasonable pricing, their French toast is not bad, too. It is a brioche covered in egg batter with caramelised bananas on the side, topped with blueberries, raisins and toasted almond flakes. Certainly worth a try!More infoGood Friends Restaurant & Cafe View restaurant

Souka Bake Shop
"Souka", a pun for the word "Suka" which means 'like' in BM, has been around Subang for quite some time now. Famous for their range of bakery and pastries, they've recently introduced a new range of weekend breakfast items. The french toast is definitely not to be missed. Made with lightly frying each individual bread in egg batter, topped with nutella, icing sugar, strawberries, bananas and maple syrup. The dish is also incredibly well balanced in flavour and sweetness.More infoSouka Bake Shop @ Subang View restaurant
