    Thean Chun Coffee Shop is a great place to be to get a satisfying breakfast. Other than Kai Si Hor Fun, this place is remarkable for chee cheong fun too. This dish is light and smooth, it is flooded with a generous amount of chilli and sweet sauce, pickled green chillies and with crispy fried shallots. For a more relishing appetite, you may request for the curry broth to be applied on it.

    Since the 80’s, Chee Cheong Fun Pasir Pinji is a converted house which in turn runs as a breakfast place. Everything is about savouring one of the tastiest and most authentic chee cheong fun out of a stationary tricycle food cart when you’re here. Despite having to remember a verbally given queue number, it is a favourite place among the locals.  For add-ons, the fried bouncy fishballs here makes a great accompaniment for that.

    Restoran New Holly Wood is a humble coffee shop with independent hawker stalls, situated nearby Canning Garden. It is always crowded and most of the time you can hardly find vacant seats! Despite that, the customers here are eager to wait to be seated, for the highly sought-after slurpy and smooth Chee Cheong Fun. Unlike any other plain rice noodle rolls, the one that is served here is filled with chicken or prawns and vegetables, and it is bathed perfectly adequate with a sweet sauce.

    Parking spaces are quite limited.

    Kedai Makanan Canning Garden

    Tucked away at the corner along Lorong Cecil Rae, Kedai Makanan Canning Garden houses a number of hawker stalls. This place stands out for its stellar signature chee cheong fun. Unlike any other places, this rice noodle rolls is blandly topped with fried shallots, dried shrimps, sesame seed, with onion oil and light soya sauce. There are no vivid colours of condiments such as curry or chilli, but it is flavorful enough to satisfy even the most frail taste buds!

    Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Additional charges for extra gravy.

Back then when it was still known as Kafe Sentosa Ria, this place is favoured by many for its classic Hong Kong chee cheong fun with succulent fillings of shrimps and char siew. You are literally slurping the original taste of a glorious silky rice noodle rolls and on top of that, you will be given a dollop of chilli paste to spice things up!

    Kedai Kopi Sun Yuan Foong

    This place is a next door neighbour of the widely acclaimed original taste of Ipoh white coffee, known as Kedai Kopi Sin Yoon Loong. The best part about having breakfast here is that you are able to delve into a cuppa or two of white coffee, while complementing it with chee cheong fun from the hawker stall at the front entrance of Kedai Kopi Sun Yuan Fong. The presentation of this dish is rather similar to the above place, but without the curry gravy this time around.
