Every once in awhile, we would opt for something a little different instead of our conventional rice. Fried rice, one of the dishes that can either be eaten on its own or an array of side dishes, is one of the most sought after items on the menu. Especially when its done correctly with a sufficient amount of 'wok hei' or rather, smokiness from the wok.

Gao Ren Guan
Gao Ren Guan is a casual Chinese restaurant that offers a variety of delicious and home-cooked dishes in Bandar Puchong Jaya. It's the humbler version of the Jaya One's branch, with a scale down on some of its dishes and prices as well. Apart from their standard array of available dishes, the Char Siew Fried Rice is one of the many fried rice available, and possibly the more delish. Packed with an abundance of char siew, yam and dried shrimp, this humble plate of fried rice exhibits flavours, texture and aroma.

Sector 7
Sector 7 at Setiawalk, Puchong is probably the last place on Earth that you'll think of having a plate of fried rice. It is afterall, a bar that serves a wide range of alcoholic beverages. However, sometimes you tend to get hungry and a normal bar isn't fit for food. Which is exactly what Sector 7 has to offer. A decent plate of fried rice along with some amazing drinks, enjoy the music and live the night.

Restoran Bibiwok
Restoran Bibiwok is a casual and modern-looking Thai and Nyonya place that offers a good variety of fusion dishes at a pretty reasonable price. It is indeed rare to see a combination of this two but that is all happening here at Restoran Bibiwok. Whether it is the amazing signature tom yum or the assam fish, it goes great with a plate of fried rice.
