Seng Hing Restaurant
By the look of it, you would probably think that it will taste like Sarawak Laksa. However, this one has a hint of sour zest to it and a very strong curry powder flavour. Once you take a sip, it will bring back memories of Baba Nyonya’s cuisine. The dish looks pretty darn delicious with huge prawns. Again, this one is also different from the laksa served in West Malaysia. It has a sour taste and more like a fusion of curry powder and coconut milk.

Fong IP CAFE
Fong IP CAFÉ offers various ‘economy’ Malaysian meal including fried rice, fried noodles, and little dim sum-esque types of items. Apart from that, you can also order other set menu such as American-styled breakfast, kon loh mee (dried sauce style noodles) and the ever-so-popular Curry Laksa (spicy seafood type of Malaysian noodle soup dish!) and Nasi Lemak (coconut rice with curry and other side pairing). The laksa taste different from the ones in peninsula Malaysia which taste delightful and not spicy. The bowl is filled with three medium prawns, few slice of fresh butter fishes, slices of omelette served with curry laksa soup. Apparently, you have to try the dish in three separate ways – by itself, with the sweeter chili paste, then all together with the hot sauce. Interesting!
