A dish that combines both Southern Thailand and Malaysian style, Nasi Dagang is one of those versions of Nasi Lemak which you would only find in certain states like Kelantan as well as Terengganu. These states being close to the sea borders are where the dish is created to enable traders that have traveled far to be able to get food the moment they reach the borders. The dish is simply made with ingredients that are common like coconut milk-steamed rice, fish curry and a piece of fresh fish meat. If anything additional, there would be some vegetable pieces, fried shaved coconut and sometimes hard-boiled eggs. The presentation style in both states vary mostly based on the type of rice used. If you are looking for some of this specialised dish, check out this list from Subang Jaya.
