Kuih Nyonya Moh Teng Pheow
Don’t be deterred by the mundane façade as this unassuming spot has been churning out one of the finest Nyonya meals around for decades, from zesty laksa, rich curries and beautiful Nyonya Kuihs. Upon entering, be amazed by the widespread offerings, they look like confetti behind a stretched glass shelf. Each of it is winners, yet among the front runners are Kuih Talam which has the perfect mélange of coconut milk and layer of Pandan filling, Kuih Bengka Ubi that has a smooth texture and Kuih Lapis which habitually tempts you to peel layer by layer and drop it on your tongue. There are many feedbacks regarding the size is getting smaller and smaller, yet quality over quantity any day! Done grabbing couple of kuihs, include a beverage and tuck yourself in their refurbished canteen.
