Alexis’s Pavlova, known and voted as one of the best Pavlova in Klang Valley. Sold out on most occasions, Alexis’s Pavlova is possibly one of the highest in demand at the moment. Layers of crispy meringue with cream and custard mixed with strawberries and blueberries – the flavour and texture were just so balanced. It wasn’t overly sweet but still had a high degree of sugary goodness within it.More info

Swich Cafe
Swich café has been quite a hit with the hi-tea crowd of Publika. Serving relatively interesting desserts and pastries, it definitely draws the attention of ladies who love their sweets. Unfortunately, their pavlova does not come as an ala-carte but in a set instead. Despite that, it was in fact, pretty good. Crispy and melt-in-your mouth crust with a creamy filling with just the right balance of sweetness! Additional strawberries were fresh and tangy as well.More info

Ben's
Everyone would know Ben’s as they’re famous for their independent grocer which supplies imported products from all over the world. Not to mention they have restaurants in several prime location that targets higher end consumer. Having said that, their approach was quite similar to Table 23’s. Simple, fresh ingredients and flavour. With the right balance in sweetness and tanginess, alongside the crumbly texture the meringue provides, it’s a definite win for Ben’s!More info

Souled Out
The Tropical Pavlova is possibly one of the best decorated and beautiful desserts available! Look at those cute cuts of fruit cubes – the contrast of colours, the harmony and the depth of dimension, was absolutely stunning! And as we all know, Pavlova is a dessert that was meant to be sweet but can be exaggerated sometimes. To counter the effect, additional passion-fruit sauce was incorporated to bring in a hint of tanginess and freshness. All the other fruits worked really well together which made it quite an awesome dessert indeed.More info

Nosh
Nosh has been well received over the months from various Instagramers, bloggers and fellow food enthusiasts for its sweet and beautifully-presented desserts. And aside from their delicious Kafir Lime Cheesecake, they do offer quite a stunning Pavlova as well. It had a nice crunch with decent airy and light core, served with delicious dark chocolate mousse and kirch soaked cherries – it was without question, stunning!More info![]()

Hot Shots Coffee & Tea
Hotshots coffee and tea is generally a coffee house where you’d expect sale of fresh coffee beans, grinders, roasters and various other interesting coffee-making machine. Apart from its coffee, they do offer tea known as TeaPigs as well. Apart from their premium selection of coffees, their pavlova wasn’t bad either. Though a little small in portion, the texture and taste was good. Crumbly crust with a sweet ending!More info

Table 23
Table 23’s take on Pavlova was pretty much a “back to basics” kinda thing. Fresh meringue with slices strawberry, cream and mango puree. Everything was kept at a minimal, including the design and plating, which wasn’t a bad thing. It clearly looks classy and elegant. Taste-wise, it wasn’t as sweet as most commercially available Pavlova and paired really well with the mango puree and cream. Fresh ingredients, simple plating and easy to eat!More info
