Best Red Velvet Cakes in KL

Strategically located at Suria KLCC and The Curve, The Apartment is warm and welcoming combined with comfortable yet modern interior design. With the delightful aromas of food and coffee in the air with holiday music playing in the background, The Apartment is a great place to come with family and loved ones to wind down and relax. Their Red Velvet cake is proportionately well with equal amount of moist cake and cream cheese frosting. Other than that, it is also pleasing to the eye. With a dash of thick strawberry sauce on top and a drizzle of chocolate sauce at the bottom, it’s hard to concentrate on which part you should start eating first!

Espressamente Illy has conquered the world by its sumptuous coffees. It is found by Francesco Illy dating back from 1933. 230 cafés in 34 countries worldwide later, Espressamente Illy finally has a store on its own in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Although their coffee always makes me salivate, their Red Velvet cake is a bit under par for me. The cream cheese frosting is a bit hard and the cake is slightly too sweet. Decoration wise, it’s fantastic. Pair it with an Illy coffee, it is actually not a bad investment for the stomach.
