Best Shepherd's Pie in Subang Jaya

Dave's Deli has done itself right again with their Shepherd's Pie. It might seem like a regular pie but wait till it enters your mouth. Presentation wise, you can see that the outer crust of the pie made out of mash potatoes is perfectly baked to withhold the the meat laying within. There is also some mash within the pie which creates the smooth texture eaten with the minced beef and some diced vegetables. What makes the pie much tastier is the brown sauce that is drenched around it. The pie is graced with some crunchy green peas.

Named the home of pies, The Crusty Nest is no stranger to all those passing by SS15. The founders have definitely done a great job in impressing those pie lovers because it can be quite rare to have a shop solely on pie. There are a few pies that really stood out and one of them is Jackie The Meat Pie. Instead of giving it the name that many go along with, it was given that but the creation is similar to the Shepherd's Pie. Jackie The Meat Pie is minced beef baked under a solid wrap of mashed potatoes and later drizzled with tomato sauce.

Upstairs Cafe has managed to attract us with their range of food despite giving quite a focus to desserts, cakes and as well as coffee. The Shepherd's Pie can be one of your choices for a delectable meal. Presentation might not be much because it is baked in a porcelain soup bowl. Do not mind it being messy because it sure is going to make you eat your words. The top is of creamy mashed potatoes that is seasoned with a pinch of pepper and some garnishing. It is also served with a handful of salad that consists of lettuce, onions, and cherry tomatoes.

Found within their humble menu of delectables, you might not find Shepherd's Pie but you will definitely find the Cottage Pie. You will find a rather solid mashed potato on the outer layer but try digging in and it will slightly collapse under your spoon and fork. Within you will be embracing a rather enticing texture of meat that is juicy and it goes really well with the mash itself. Note though, the meat is beef but rest assured, it is just as delicious.

Within the Holiday Villa Hotel in Subang, head on to the Lobby Lounge where you will find rather light snacks or meals. Besides the usual savoury pies, you can opt for the Shepherd's Pie. You will find yourself some rather creamy and as well as fluffy mashed potato and to your delight, fully covering the top before you venture deep into the bowl. There are generous chunks of minced lamb and drizzled with a good amount of tomato based sauce for flavour. This cute bowl is also accompanied by a few pieces of well-toasted garlic bread.
