NY Steak Shack isn't a place you'll visit if you're looking for classically done steaks. Instead, this reiteration is great for those who can't take medium rare's, as well as plain salt and pepper. At NY Steak Shack, most of their steaks are made well done, so it's not bloody at all. On top of that, you can choose from several options of sauces (button mushrooms, caramelised onions, black pepper, demi-glace) and sides to help give it additional flavour. And despite the name, it nowhere looks like a shack. So head over.

Oh, don't forget there's also a salad bar on the side with 18 different options, as well as drinks, all of which are free-flow. All in all, this place is where carnivores and herbivores can come hand to hand. 

On a budget but your belly begs for a shot of steak? Then make your way to this humble spot that churns out really good steak despite not looking like much. The treacly sauce that is basted over the meat is made in-house and it scores pretty well. You could also opt for no sauce but hey, why not right? The meat can be cooked according to your doneness, so do opt for medium rare if you can. Adding colours and texture to the platter are mashed potatoes, garden greens and a small serving of spaghetti. Apart from the good flavours, it offers diners real value for money. 

Ante is a place where you can celebrate with your loved ones without the need to pierce through your wallet. More importantly, they're a semi-fine establishment that excels in both service and food. As for their steak, you're in for a treat with their chargrilled pork steak. Yes, instead of the conventional use of beef, a generous chunk of pork is chosen instead. It still packs in a whole lot of flavour with merely salt and pepper, while the meat is incredibly juicy. The grill marks on the edge too gives it a bit of smokiness, which is an absolute delight to have. 

Heart attack, liver problems or unwanted fat, that's the benefit of dining at Garden Western Grill. Entering the restaurant is definitely a sight to behold, as there are plenty of plates that are stacked up really high. And amongst the whole stack lies several slabs of your choice of meat, which in this case is beef, a load of fries and a somewhat comforting side of greens (not that it will help but hey, it's something). Most of the sauces here are a little saltier than most, but as a whole, it's pretty good.
