halalAmong the earliest pioneers of Thai restaurant in Kuantan, Sri Patani Restaurant has stood against the test of time and among the dishes that they serve, one is worthy to give credit on - the classic Thai tom tam kung. Comes with a choice of clear soup broth or much redder broth that probably will sting the tongue a little due to its spiciness, however any Sri Patani's tom yam is worth a shot.

halalExquisitely sits in the midst of De Rhu Beach Resort, De Rhu Oriental Restaurant serves the best Chinese cuisines around Kuantan and of course not limited to that only but instead the extensive menu also includes South East Asian food hence, the classic Thai tom yam kung. The red yellowish of the broth is apparent to the eyes and one look at it is an assurance that it will succulently lure its eater into finishing the whole bowl in one go with bits and pieces of condiments decorating the finest top.

Among the many Thai restaurants around Kuantan, A Lemongrass Thai Restaurant sits itself as one of the few restaurants that serves Thai cuisine with a choice of pork as part of its dish. When mentioning Thai dishes tom yam cannot simply be left out and Lemongrass sure do provide an authentic one. Restoran Tom Yam Paragon
Unlike the usual Thai dish of tom yam kung, Restoran Tom Yam Paragon is apparently a Chinese restaurant that dish out arrays of Chinese dishes but most importantly yong tau foo. With fusion of the classic Thai tom yam broth into yong tau foo, the combination is their biggest hit and customers cannot seem to get enough of it. Your ever favourite yong tau foo condiments paired with tom yam - nothing beats this.

Restoran Andaman Tom Yam does best at what it is good at including dishing out a scrumptious looking and packed bowl of tom yam. The tom yam is slightly redder in colour which is pretty much an indicator that its level of spiciness is slightly beyond mediocre nevertheless it does not overwhelm the obvious taste of the sweet and sourness.More info
