Boat noodles or traditionally known as kuai tiao ruea in Thailand has is a bombshell of a noodle dish that brings Thai elements in one of the most unique experiences in Kuala Lumpur. Lucky for us, KL is known to host some of the tastiest boat noodles around. It is a hearty broth of noodles with dark soy sauce, pickled bean curd, and a lot of spices that make this just irresistible. This Thai noodles in sold in tiny bowls and the nature of this challenge is to stack em’ bowls high.

    Nine bowls boat noodles in Publika is less popular than it’s nearby neighbour Boat Noodles. The lack the crowd but make great boat noodles. Those who go cant wait will find Nine Bowls Kl a great alternative. There are three flavours available here, Pork Boat Noodles, Tom Yum Boat Noodles and Beef Pork Noodles. Their noodles is more on the sweet than sour side and is topped with chopped kangkung and parsley.

    Samet Thai Restaurant or previous known as the Thai Kopitiam delivers an array of warm thai food. Their selection is good and their satisfying bowl of boat noodles hits the spot. One bowl is sufficient because their serving size is much bigger than how it’s eaten at most boat noodle joints. The food is overpriced but their boat noodles is tangy, zesty and makes us all warm inside.
