Restoran Soo Kee
If you're not into sweet char siew, Soo Kee's version will certainly suit your palette without any difficulty. The dish is the restaurant's ultimate pride and joy - and is also the same case for many customers. The smokey and charred flavors complement the succulent and fatty meat perfectly like your favourite perfect love song (questionable). Either way, this dish is not one to be missed if you're in the area!

Char Siew Yoong
Sweet, tender and juicy, char siew or barbequed pork belly is what many consider to be a joy-meal. The dish is absolutely glorious if you love your yok charred to a near-burnt consistency. Despite that, the flavors and texture are undoubtedly on point. We certainly can not vouch for the health aspects but all good things come with a price, right?

Wong Mei Kee 王美记
A strong contender for the best siew yok and char siew in the city, Wong Mei Kee has been around the scene for over a decade. The restaurant is quite an eyeful as it also houses amazing Hai Lam Chicken Rice. With that said, don't be surprised with the overwhelming queues at Wong Mei Kee because we have already warned you. Then again, the wait will be worth it.

Kedai Kopi Tian Hong 天福茶室
Kedai Kopi Tian Hong first rose to fame for an organic reason: simply because they serve remarkable dishes. The star dish of the restaurant is what we have our eyes on: char siew. The barbequed pork literally melts in your mouth and forms an arguably unprecedented reaction between your emotions and tastebuds. Also, Tian Hong apparently serves complimentary soup to wash down all that oil. Curious? Try it yourself!
