Western Diner's isn't the prettiest of cafes to visit, but it certainly is one of the more affordable ones. At only RM9.90, you'll be able to order chicken chop with mushroom sauce and boiled vegetables. The chicken is crispy and moist while the sauce is nicely seasoned without being overly salty. Simple, affordable and surprisingly good. 

Mohd Raffe Restaurant isn't just about nasi kandar and mamak food. Their chicken chop is really something here. It is fried till walnut-brown and is crispy and yet firm. Served with a bowl of incredibly well-seasoned black pepper sauce, fries and salad on the side, you will definitely find it a unique dish here.

Khoon Pastry, being a pastry house cum bakery has surprisingly good chicken chop. It is done in a traditional Hainanese style where the sauce is slightly sweet and creamy, and served with green peas and tomatoes. To give the chicken a little crisp, they do a quick fry before adding the sauce. Laid on a bed of potato wedges and some mixed vegetables on the side, it is indeed a hearty meal.

83 Cafe, also know as Eighty Tree Cafe, is a casual place that offers both local and western dishes. They're incredibly famous for their wantan mee, but let's leave that for another day. The grilled diavola chicken chop is the champion. Instead of the standard Hainanese sweet sauce or black pepper sauce, a mango puree was used, which might seem a little weird but somehow works wonders.  It helps lighten the dish and gave it a little more excitement in its taste.
