As a whole, it is a lot oiler than most chicken rice balls in Melaka, which also gives it more flavour. Those that do not enjoy fat as much might not like what they have to offer. 

For those who are not a fan of Malaccan chicken rice balls, you can always opt for something more common - like Ku Loong Kee's signature chicken rice. Just beautifully cooked chicken, a handful of beansprouts and a plate of fragrant steamed, oiled rice. The restaurant is fairly small and bare with nothing much to offer aside from their services and food. Tables are rather limited as well. All and all, this restaurant is great for a small family meal, or even for tourists coming with friends.

One of the earliest chicken rice ball stalls here, they've been offering tasty and fragrant rice balls paired with tender chicken, either roasted or steamed. Lou Fo Kee is a bit of a hidden gem. They have been serving the locals of Malim for a few years and been a staple lunch for some too. Their chicken and rice may be a bit overcooked sometimes but with the portion and price, it's definitely a bang for your bucks.

Insisting on no pork or lard in their dishes, they substitute it with chicken oil instead and has been pulling in customers without fail. Their meat is tender and the rice fluffy. The chilli sauce isn't that spicy, but its flavourful nonetheless.
