Among the crowd pullers are the roast duck, stew pig trotter, claypot fish curry, stir-fried vegetables and the main draw, Claypot Crab Rice. The first step is to cherry-pick a crab, female or male and sizes, however if you don’t want that trouble; leave it to the courteous staffs. It’s such a delicate pot, it hits you with an alluring aroma and gleaming rice and pieces of crab. Retaining its natural flavours, the fleshy crab offers a tinge of sweetness and binds delightfully with the baked dark soy rice. The spring onions offer a layer of crunch and add some chopped chilies to jolt your spicy scale.
