The ais kacang here consists of smoothly shaved iced, delectable syrup and fresh ingredients underneath. It is not a wonder why everyone makes a hype of this place. A rather new establishment, The Verte is quickly rising to become one of PD's pioneering modern eateries. The town lacks cafes and modern restaurants due to its rather smaller vicinity. Therefore, since The Verte came about, the restaurant-bar-cafe has been circling social media like a storm. Besides its beautiful location, food is unique to the town's typical crowd and thus, making The Verte a standout. Desserts at the moment include sticky hazelnut chocolate pudding, lemon in a glass and mochacino cream cheese.

Head onto the PD branch of The Original Cendol Bakar of Kuala Selangor. The stall is housed in a bigger roof that also serves other delicious fares such as mango sticky rice and pisang goreng. Our eyes, however, are all set on the sweetsmelling bowls of cendol that we just can't seem to get enough of. The pandan noodles are fat and fluffy just the way we like it!

Being the only Mexican restaurant in town, El Cactus is popular amongst locals who wish to have something different for dinner. Nachos is the bestseller here as it is afterall the most well received Mexican dish on a global scale. Besides steaks and fajitas, the desserts are pretty awesome too. If you're not into brownies or banana flambe, perhaps indulge in a sweet margarita. Just make sure you're not responsible behind the wheels.

Anyone who has been to Tino's Pizza will tell you not to judge a book by its cover. The humble Italian restaurant is rather dodgy-looking but the food is gold. This is the only place you'll be able to find homemade Italian ice cream AKA gelato. Flavours are on rotation as everything is homemade and limited in quantity. Don't just come here for some gelato though. Be sure to try their pizzas as they are amazing! 

The nameless rojak & cendol stall is simply commonly known as it is, literally. The stall has been around for quite some time which is how netizens and visitors alike began to discover the place. For a quick fix-me-up, pay a visit to the stall and have your physical self freshened with a bowl of delicious cendol. ABC is available too.
