Restoran Wong Soh Siew
Just ask any locals around, they surely do know about this place. Restoran Wong Soh Siew is another hidden coffee shop situated by the roadside. Selling hee kiaw noodles for decades, this place still maintains the consistency in its cooking, and the same can be said for the fish balls here. Restoran Lima Belas Tingkat Yong Tau Hoo
Restoran Lima Belas Tingkat Yong Tau Hoo, a small family business found at the residential area of Semabok Perdana. It is the only Chinese restaurant that occupies a single shoplot among a row of other shophouses here. It is famous for Hee Kiaw noodle. This noodle comes with different variations of fish paste, including thin slices of orange-coloured fish paste and white bouncy fish balls. Moreover, this version of dry noodle tasted pretty delicious on its own, even though without a condiment such as the common dark soy sauce that is seen in most dry noodles versions.

Kedai Kopi & Makanan Oriental Cafe
Having been around for decades, Kedai Kopi & Makanan Oriental Cafe is where you can get a nostalgic taste of old school like how the locals usually come here for its succulent pork lard popiah and delightful bowl of hee kiaw noodles. The ingredients in the noodles are much alike the same as the aforementioned. However, if you prefer more dark soy sauce, the dry version here will be able to please your taste buds and the uneven fish ball shapes definitely screams homemade.

Restaurant Bee Bee Hiong
Restaurant Bee Bee Hiong was originally renowned for its yong tau foo, back then when it was located behind the abandoned Federal Cinema of Melaka. Currently, it is operating at Bukit Piatu. Whenever there’s yong tau foo involved, you can always get a good elastic and springy white fish ball such as the ones from here. As for the noodles, instead of eating it blandly, do request for its savoury minced pork, it helps to enhance the flavour of the noodle.
