MyElephant is another Thai restaurant that has been receiving admiration from all ages. The white-washed tables and chairs, blue and grey walls and dangling light bulbs offer a nice cosy and laid-back feel that you don’t often see in regular Thai restaurants. The menu is pretty extensive and each dish scores high on the aesthetic scale. Among the mainstay on the menu is their green curry chicken. Meticulously made, the gravy has the right balance of savoury and spiciness while the generous amount of chicken pieces and vegetables further augment the flavours. Opt for the set meal, as the balmy bowl is paired with brown or mixed rice and a salad. 

Don’t be fooled by the name of the restaurant, it does sound like a cupcake joint under the stewardship of a lass but it's wildly acclaimed by carnivores out there. Be spoilt with a vast selection of Western and local food, as well as classic favourites like green curry chicken. It more than make up for its first impression, as the medley of greens and tender chicken chunks submerged in a treacly concoction certainly packs a punch, and goes well with the steamed white rice on the edge of the plate.
