Ah, the sight of this dish can never get mundane. The Katsudon is a Japanese meal that consists of a bed of rice topped with strips of deep fried chicken and fluffy omelette; the rest varies with the restaurants. Some thronged with slivers of sweet onions and speckles of spring onions, while some just find a simple drizzle of sweet and savoury sauces to augment the dish just enough. But all these renditions does not change the fact that these best recommended Katsudon in KL are some of the most scrumptious out there!

Yashiki Yakitori Bar
Although known and named as a Yakirori bar, you can rest assured that your favourite bowl of Katsudon can also be found here. The simple looking dish has an explosion of savoury and sweet flavours hidden within what seems to look like a layer of egg. Prod your utensils in and you will see strips of golden brown chicken, julienned onions and carrots, and of course- the fluffy egg. If you’re not salivating already, wait till you have a whiff of its fragrance.
