Ah, the sight of this dish can never get mundane. The Katsudon is a Japanese meal that consists of a bed of rice topped with strips of deep fried chicken and fluffy omelette; the rest varies with the restaurants. Some thronged with slivers of sweet onions and speckles of spring onions, while some just find a simple drizzle of sweet and savoury sauces to augment the dish just enough. But all these renditions does not change the fact that these best recommended Katsudon in KL are some of the most scrumptious out there!

Nihon Kai
Tucked smack in between Old Klang Road and Taman Desa, this restaurant might cease to exist in your mind if you weren’t looking hard enough. Nevertheless, stepping foot in here can never be too late. The Katsudon here is a constant order for those who seek something comforting and unpretentious, where the only satisfaction needed is for the tummy. Soft fluffy omelette, strips of seaweed, julienned sweet onions, and of course- chicken adorns the dish with ambrosial flavours.
