Hassan Mee Rebus
Starting out with a food stall mounted on an improvised traditional tricycle, Hassan Mee Rebus is among one of the first to introduce mee rebus to Melaka back in the day. As of today, they have been around for over 40 years. Due to high demand, they gradually expanded into providing a dining area, placed in a revamped kampung house by the roadside. Putting that aside for now, you can definitely expect the best from their mee rebus, especially their tasty gravy! It comes in a plate of yellow noodles immersed in a mixture of sweet and spicy tasting curry gravy with a tantalising smell of dried shrimp. For a more relish appetite, if you are one of the early birds to arrive, add-ons such as cuttlefish may be requested.

Restoran Sakjna
As spooky as it may sound, despite being anonymous, they were initially a famous mee rebus and cendol place that is stationed in front of a well known Chinese cemetery hill known as Bukit China. They decided to name themselves as Restoran Sakjna during a relocation and are now found at the opposite side of the road. Speaking of their mee rebus, it comes in a decent serving, distinguished by an aromatic smell of a thick and flavourful gravy with prawn fritters. Additionally, their regulars will opt for cendol to pair with a plate of mee rebus.

Gerai Rojak & Mee Rebus Nordin
As the name implies, Gerai Rojak & Mee Rebus Nordin is a typical Malay stall selling mee rebus and rojak like hot cakes found in Taman Asean. Likewise, garnishing ingredients are usually similar, including their highly recommended prawn fritters. As for the gravy, it looked rather diluted, but nevertheless, the taste of it is just about right! Don’t forget to spice up your mee rebus with their all-time favourite rojak, too!

Violet Station
Violet Station is a Muslimah boutique, in addition to a cafe. Besides adopting local staple food such as laksa that hails from Penang, you are able to get a taste of Mee Rebus Singapore from here too. The gravy is smooth, robust with flavour and it coats the noodles pretty well, without being too watery or concentrated. The effect is adequately moreish, portion is quite decent and reasonably priced. On top of that, made-to-order menu for kids is available based on special request as well.

Restoran Line Clear Kampung Jawa
Similar to the above, Restoran Line Clear Kampung Jawa is a Malaccan version of “line clear” restaurant, placed at the riverfront of Melaka. They are praiseworthy for their local cuisines such as mee rebus and rojak. Having said that, you will be dumbfounded by the mee rebus here. By the way, this is not the widely known “line clear” restaurant that we're talking about, but their mee rebus is not to be missed! It is topped with prawn fritters, curry gravy, and additionally, you can request for rojak sauce, too. If that is not satisfying enough, relish your appetite with a stick or two of satay kerang!
