The line is long but worth the visit to try their pomfret (bawa) which is a light curry. They serve some impressively well cooked cuttlefish curry and fish row. This cozy restaurant is a neighborhood favorite that is known to serve soy sauce curry that is delightful. Their curry are a little less spicy that usual but nothing that cant be solved with sambal. Get some kari ikan bawal and you wont regret it!

Pelita is no stranger to Nasi Kandar fans. Their outlet at Jalan Ampang is a favorite to many that claim it is as authentic as Penang Nasi Kandar. Pelita host a big variety of sides to go with your nasi banjir. What is outstanding is the simple things like crunchy fried chicken and crunchy cabbage. The curries at Pelita are amazingly delicious.
