The funny thing about pisang goreng here in Malaysia is the fact that everyone still enjoys it while the weather is scorching hot. Perhaps in other countries, fried snacks similar to these are usually eaten during winter or spring, you know, to counter the cold weather with some hot food. But, Malaysians being Malaysians, we love our choices of food, especially when it comes to cheap fried snacks from stalls by the roadside. With that in mind, here is a list of the best pisang goreng in Shah Alam.

Tam Nasi Ayam
Famous for its Nasi Lemak Ayam, Tam's Nasi Ayam is also another great place to satisfy your lingering cravings for pisang goreng. Situated at a corner shoplot in Section 23 Shah Alam, the mamak-style place isn't exactly the friendliest of places to get a seat. In fact, you might have to fight with someone over it. However, all that effort is well worth it as the pisang goreng is simply amazing. Coupled with some of their specials such as satay, grilled squid, fried tofu and durian crepe, dining here is simply a feast to say the least.

Pisang Goreng Jakarta
It's great to have something funky in your life once in a blue moon. Just as Pisang Goreng Jakarta's version, where it's topped with a variety of sweet and savoury sauces to compliment the crispy pisang goreng. Choose from a selection of chocolate, coco caramel, crunchy Oreo, and messy chocolate. On occasion, you might be able to try out something even weirder, such as putting oranges together with your pisang goreng. Whatever it may be, it certainly is quite addictive to say the least.
