At the stall, you can order the basic, which are porridge, Yao Char Kwai and soya and match them with the available Chinese pastries. Porridge is usually served simply – just pure white rice with plenty of water and some condiments to go it with. However, things aren’t exactly the same at Eat-ZY Teow Chew Porridge. On occasions, more often than not, they serve unique porridge made from different grains and whatnots, sometimes with the addition of tiny sweet potatoes. To compliment these odd concoctions, a wide variety of salty dishes (and we mean really salty ones) are paired with them. Porridge comes in various forms and sizes, and sometimes even made with the oddest ingredients such as the signature Frog Porridge here at Tasty Porridge. Though this may seem normal to most, it’s quite a delicacy to us. Served with a variety of salty vegetables with handpicked frogs cooked to tender perfection, it’s no wonder why many people wouldn’t mind hopping here for a bite.
