For the regulars, it's known that you can order a whole piece of fish and dump it in your steamboat, for those who are new - voila! Furthermore, the essence of the soup will be nicely soaked within the fish, thus giving it all that flavour it needs. It's not exactly a steamed fish, but it does have similar traits. After all, it's not entirely submerged within the broth.

If you're a fan of fish head, or steamed fish in general, then Kantin Friendly is definitely well worth the visit. Among so many available dishes, their steamed fish head is one of the most popular. It comes in a steel pot filled with vermicelli, ginger, Chinese fungus, herbs and of course, the broth itself. Soaking up all the flavours, the fish head is also incredibly tender and flaky - great to go with some rice, or simply have it on its own.
