Steamed fish has always been a great dish to pair with rice and other vegetables as it is both healthy and delicious. Depending on what you steam it with, the Chinese style would normally come in ginger and soy sauce, Thai would be mostly acidic with plenty of lemon, lime and spices and various other styles that are equally delicious. Now the issue is, where can I find an awesome serving of steamed fish?

Yuen Kee Hometown Steamed Fish
As the name goes, Yuen Kee is particularly famous through word by mouth for its steamed fish dish. They offer many variances of steaming fish here, from Nyonya-styled steamed fish to bean paste and ginger style. If you're a hot and spicy eater, the Thai style steamed fish would work best for you. However, since the fish is already good and fresh to begin with, the minimal style of steaming with soy sauce would be satisfying enough.

Thai Camp
Missing Thailand and it's gastronomically yummy food? No fret, Thai Camp's got that sorted. We've included Thai Camp here for its steaming hot and peppery Pla Neung Ma Naw. Thai Camp serves their Thai steamed fish utilizing Tilapia fish, freshly cooked with tons of garlic, chilli padi and lime. So it's not just spicy, but extremely sour-ish given the generous amount of lime it is cooked with.

Wang Chiew Seafood Restaurant
Wang Chiew Seafood Restaurant isn't exactly the fanciest of places, nor does it even have the basic set of tables and chair. Most of the time, it's either broken or somewhat difficult to use. Having said that, their range of dishes are absolutely amazing. Packed with a good amount of flavour as well as dishes that are cooked to perfection. This applies to their array of seafood dishes such as fish as well. Fresh, plump, succulent and cooked beautifully with your choice of style. The most common comes with soy sauce and ginger, but has a twang to it which many can't resists.
