Best Wantan Mee in Puchong

Situated a little further away from the Puchong town center, Kedai Kopi Min Ren has been a wormhole for people of the vicinity - especially those white collars. Featuring a good array of food such as curry laksa, fried rice, economy mixed-rice and of course, wantan mee as well, the option to dine is simply limitless. 

This is not a place that you would think has a good wantan mee, but Nasi Lemak Factory Puchong sprang this surprise on us. Their bamboo wantan mee made from a traditional method ensures that there is a nice springiness in every bite of noodle that you sink your teeth into. Oh, don't expect them to serve the wantan mee with char siew or roast pork, they do that differently here too. You can have it with luncheon meat or curry chicken or fried chicken.

Restoran BBQ Soon Heng is probably one of the more famous places to have a good plate of wantan mee. After all, they're also incredibly popular and talented for making their own roast pork, duck and chicken. Though the noodles and vegetables are pretty common, the recommended char siew and siew yoke is absolutely delicious. For those who wish for a healthier alternative, why not try out their chicken feet with mushroom sauce wantan mee instead? 

Ramai Food Centre, like many other hawker stalls in Puchong, offer a pretty decent wantan mee. Back to the essentials, the wantan mee consists of beautifully cooked noodles, soy sauce base, char siew, vegetables and wantan. You can also opt for the soup version if you wish. 

Restoran Fong Lei has been a place for many of the Puchongites to grab a delicious serving of roast chicken. On the other hand, the wantan mee here too is pretty damn good. Served with a variety of style such as dry, soup or even with chicken feet and mushroom sauce, all of them are equally delicious. Don't forget to add-on additional char siew for that extra 'oomph'!
