The owner’s husband learned how to specially roast char siew from a Hong Kong chef and ever since, they’ve been selling wantan mee that people rave about. If you guessed that the secret is in the char siew marinade, then you’re absolutely right. The flavour has just the right amount of sweetness and the texture of the char siew is the type that melts in your mouth – even the lean bits!
