A classic bread delicacy of Jewish and Polish decent, the traditional bagel is ring-shaped, fist-sized and handmade with wheat. Today's modern bagel however, has taken onto new variations with bran, sourdough, multigrain, rye and so on. Also, it has only been recently since bagels were introduced in our local market and back then, only few knew what a bagel was or even tried one before. However, now we can finally get a taste of a wonderful bagel at these places in Kuala Lumpur!

The brainchild of two brothers who shared a serious love for the coffee culture in Melbourne, Coffee Societe has been one of the biggest contenders when it comes to the go-to cafes in Kuala Lumpur. Situated in Solaris Dutamas (Publika), the cafe has a high turn up rate of customers daily. Aside from staple menu and special promotions, the cafe serves bagels plain with butter and jam or with smoked salmon (and optional avocado top).
