Union Artisan Coffee may have a coffee first in its name but make no mistake about it, their chicken chop is one of the best in PJ. They have 3 flavours of sauces for the chicken chop - Lemon Curry, Honey Mustard and Roasted Peanut. Certainly something different from the usual Mushroom or Black Pepper Sauce.

Soru Station finally expanded to the PJ area, bringing their food truck style Western food with prices that won't break a hole in your pocket. There's a wide selection of dishes available on their menu and if you're overwhelmed by the choices, definitely try their signature Charcoal Grilled Chicken that is grilled on a charcoal grill, 'banjir' with black pepper sauce and a generous amount of sides! If you're cheese lover, be sure to miss out their Chicken Cordon Bleu and Chicken Parmigiana.

Cafe Lafayette's chicken chop will make you wonder on whether or not you have the wrong order. As it comes with a large portion of salad, the focus will somewhat divert elsewhere. Nevertheless, the perfectly cooked chicken thighs with black pepper sauce and a ring of pineapple on top, finished with cheese and a cherry certainly is quite delicious. It's tender, juicy, succulent and packed with flavour. The sweetness and acidity of the pineapple works really well with the rich and flavourful sauce too. Stay healthy with a whole lot of salad as well. 

Drenched in ambrosial cream sauce, the crispy chicken chop here will mesmerize you with its myriad of flavours, albeit looking like a simple dish. The crust of the chicken is well preserved with its crisp; going exceptionally well with its tender meat and decadent sauce. Served by the side are some greens to balance out all those indulgence.

The chicken chop at Rail Canteen is pretty straight-forward. Deliciously tender flesh with crispy crust, french fries, coleslaw, baked beans, halved tomatoes and a surprisingly different, mushroom sauce. Apart from the perfectly cooked chicken thighs, the sauce is what makes the dish so unique. The slightly spiced and fragrant mushroom sauce is packed with essence of black pepper and onions. Blends really well with the chicken and the fries.
